Lead QA Engineer (Python & Playwright)

We are looking for a Lead QA Engineer withexpertise in Python and Playwright to drive our qualityassurance strategy and automation efforts. As a key member of the QA team, youwill be responsible for designing and implementing scalable testautomation frameworks, ensuring best QA practices, and mentoring junior teammembers.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead QA strategy and establish automation frameworks using Python & Playwright.
• Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts for web applications.
• Ensure end-to-end test coverage across frontend, backend, and APIs.
• Collaborate with development teams to integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines.
• Analyze test results, debug issues, and drive root cause analysis.
• Implement best practices in test automation, performance testing, and security testing.
• Mentor and guide junior QA engineers, fostering a culture of quality.
• Ensure compliance with Agile/Scrum methodologies and deliver high-quality software.

Required Skills & Experience

 Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science orrelated field.
 6+ years of QA experience, with at least 2 years in a lead role.
 Strong expertise in Python and Playwright for testautomation.
 Experience with test frameworks (PyTest, Unittest) and APItesting tools.
 Deep understanding of CI/CD pipelines, DevOps, and Agilemethodologies.
 Strong experience in testautomation, debugging, and test-driven development (TDD).
 Good knowledge of performance testing & security testing.
 Fluent English (spoken & written) for global collaboration.

Nice to Have

• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud environments (AWS, GCP, Azure).
• Hands-on experience with SQL & NoSQL databases for data validation.
• Familiarity with Cypress, Selenium, or other automation tools.
