Lead QA Engineer (Python & Playwright)

Role Overview

We arelooking for a Lead QA Engineer with expertise in Python and Playwrightto drive our quality assurance strategy and automation efforts. As a key memberof the QA team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing scalabletest automation frameworks, ensuring best QA practices, and mentoringjunior team members.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead QA strategy and establish automation frameworks using Python & Playwright.
• Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts for web applications.
• Ensure end-to-end test coverage across frontend, backend, and APIs.
• Collaborate with development teams to integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines.
• Analyze test results, debug issues, and drive root cause analysis.
• Implement best practices in test automation, performance testing, and security testing.
• Mentor and guide junior QA engineers, fostering a culture of quality.
• Ensure compliance with Agile/Scrum methodologies and deliver high-quality software.

Required Skills & Experience

🎓 Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Scienceor related field.
💼 6+ years of QA experience, with at least 2years in a lead role.
🛠 Strong expertise in Python and Playwrightfor test automation.
📜 Experience with test frameworks (PyTest,Unittest) and API testing tools.
🚀 Deep understanding of CI/CD pipelines, DevOps, andAgile methodologies.
🗄️ Strong experience in test automation, debugging,and test-driven development (TDD).
🔍 Good knowledge of performance testing &security testing.
🌍 Fluent English (spoken & written) forglobal collaboration.

Nice to Have

• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud environments (AWS, GCP, Azure).
• Hands-on experience with SQL & NoSQL databases for data validation.
• Familiarity with Cypress, Selenium, or other automation tools.
